π Phone system improvements + bug fixes
Improvements
- Live Call Hold Stream Upliftβ The old system was slow and inefficient, so we have deployed an almost instant solution so callers can hear your radio station live whilst on-hold. We have two regions available for this feature (US West & AU East).
- Caller Intent/Notesβ We think that caller intents/notes are a very important part of handling phone calls when live on-air. That's why we are showing caller intent/notes at all times within your studio panel (when populated). Keep your presenters well-informed of every call.
- Call Transfers, Simplifiedβ Need to transfer a call between your screener and studio endpoints? We admit, our previous implementation of call transfers was slow and unreliable. We've removed the 'Transfer' option and now only show a 'Transfer & Hold' icon. It's one less decision you have to make!
Bug Fixes
- Call transfers between studio and screener endpoints were dropping, fixed by issuing correct callUUID's upon transfer
- Calls stuck on hold and couldn't be transferred when using live call hold music, fixed by scrapping old system and implementing new hold system
