What's happening
As announced July 1, 2026, Meta will charge for service messages on a per-message basis on October 1, 2026 at 12am in the WhatsApp Business Account's timezone. Additionally, as announced September 1, 2026, Meta will introduce a free monthly tier of service messages. Each month, every business phone number will receive 1,000 free service messages.
What this means
For every business phone number, Meta will only charge as of the 1,001st service message delivered each month. For businesses that do not have a payment method in Billing Hub, Meta will deliver the 1st 1,000 service messages each month but not deliver as of the 1,001st service message.
What you need to do
To avoid disruptions and ensure continuity in your service messages (even beyond the 1,000 free service messages), please ensure you add a payment method via Meta Billing Hub.

This is billed separately from Studiio.
If you do not add a payment method, inbound/outbound WhatsApp messages may not be delivered to Studiio beyond the 1,000 monthly included messages.
